Harptail Blenny

The Harptail Blenny gets its name from the harp-shaped yellow caudal fin. Jet black dorsal and anal fins add to the looks of this fish along with a greenish band of coloration underneath the black dorsal fin and on the belly. As with many blennies, this blenny has venomous fangs.  Its fangs are typically more of a defense mechanism used for defending itself against an aggressive fish. This is an active fish that will add lots of interest to a reef tank.
